DAVE HAS COMPLETED HIS WALK – HE ARRIVED SAFELY IN INVERNESS!!
Here is a live tracker of my progress so far!
This is a prototype page so it may not always function.
There are a couple of things to note about my tracking:
1. The tracker updates my position once every 60 seconds.
2. The tracker relies on mobile network signal to transmit my location data to the website, this may not always be available, particularly on the more remote parts of the West Highland Way. This may mean the tracker “disappears” for periods of time or appears to stay stationary before suddenly moving a long way instantly when it reconnects to the network. This does not mean I am cheating the route!
3. I don’t know how long the battery will last in the tracker!
